The golden tiger also called golden tabby tiger has many names. Tabby, strawberry tiger or Strawberry tabby tiger, we like Tabby, Tabby is caused by a color variation from a recessive gene. It is a color for and is known as blonde, red, or golden color stripes. This trait is known as widebanding this affects the production of Black in hair growth.
They are thought to be only captive bred but one was spotted in Kaziranga National Park in India in 2014.
Every golden tiger in captivity come from one white naked Bhim. Bhim is the son of a white Amur tiger (Siberian tiger) named Tony. Tony is common ancestor of every white tiger in North America.
