About Us
From Sakura With Love was born under the Cherry Blossom Trees in Washington D.C. at The Tidal Basin. The Tidal Basin is a partially man-made reservoir between the Potomac River and Washington Channel in Washington D.C. The Tidal Basin is the focal point of the National Cherry Blossom Festival Held every spring. The Jefferson Memorial, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, and George Mason Memorial surround the Tidal Basin.
The Cherry Blossoms located at the Tidal Basin was a gift from Japan. On March 27, 1912 the Mayor from Tokyo City Yukio Ozaki donated the trees to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan. Throughout the years the Cherry Blossom Festival grew to the event you see today. Do to the Coronavirus many of the events for the 2020 Cherry Blossom Festival was canceled.
Our company was born under these trees. Since I can remember friends and family had played under these trees. Our company employees spent numerous hours at museums and the memorials. From Sakura With Love is here to bring you the joy of Cherry Blossoms with a touch of D.C.
